A Red Clue
Last week, the girls discovered an old dry cleaning ticket from Alison’s book. Turns out the ticket was for a red trench coat. Aria checks the pockets and discovers a piece of paper with a phone number. The girls fight over whether or not they should call the number. Finally Emily gets ahold of the person on the other end of the line, but they are hesitant to talk. Who is this person, and what secrets do they have about Alison’s disappearance?
Sister, Sister
The principal is not happy about the naked picture of Kate that was sent out on Hanna’s phone. Kate and Hanna’s mom are both called into the office to try to deal with the situation. Luckily, the school has planned an overnight lock-in for the students. The event will focus on telling the truth and taking responsibility for bad behavior. The principal says all will be forgiven if the girls can work through their issues and become friends.
Locked In
But, the lock-in isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Emily is upset because she has been banned from the swim team because of all the trouble the girls have been getting in. Her and Mona team up, sneak onto the school computer and find out that the vice principal is taking bribes to let students on different sports team. Will Emily stoop to that level? Meanwhile, Hanna takes a closer look at the photo of Kate, and realizes it isn’t actually her body (due to a noticeable birthmark). Turns out, Kate sent the photo herself, since she was afraid Emily would send the bad photo around, and she wanted to beat her to the punch.
Aria is suspicious about Holden’s behavior, ever since she noticed his large bruises. During the lock-in he drops a bag of pills, and Aria calls him out on it. She heads to the roof of the school to look for Caleb, but the door shuts, locking her out. Noel, dressed in a hoodie, grabs her leg, but Holden steps in to save the day. Who is Holden, and why does he have so many secrets?
