Golden Boy
It’s Sectionals week and the New Directions know they won’t win unless they find a little magic. Finn and Rachel think the solution to their problem is Sam, who moved away at the end of last season. They head to Kentucky to find him, and convince him to return to McKinley High.
Sectionals
There are three major teams competing in sections: the Unitards, the Troubletones and New Directions. The Troubletones bring back their mash-up of “Survivor” and “I Will Survive”, but it falls shorts. The New Directions give a sort of tribute to the Jackson family, with songs from Michael, Janet and the Jackson 5. New Directions pulls through with a win, sending them on to Nationals.
Trouble with Troubletones
The ladies in the Troubletones realize they want to spend more time with their friends in New Directions. Mr. Schu agrees to give Santana and Mercedes more attention if they return to the glee club.
Crazy Quinn
After finding out about Puck and Shelby’s semi-relationship, Quinn considers outing Shelby. She thinks if she causes Shelby to lose her job Quinn can get Beth back. But, Rachel helps her realize that she would only be risking Beth’s happiness, and not helping anyone.
