The latest Zelda game for the Wii just came out on Sunday! However, don't let the 25th anniversary celebration of Zelda distract you from other great games that are also coming out. This week we preview The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Rayman Origins, and Power Rangers Samurai.
Rayman Origins
You probably know the world of Rayman a bit better for the Raving Rabbids now, but at one point, Rayman was the main character. While we had a remake of a classic Rayman game for the Nintendo 3DS launch, we finally get a brand new Rayman game! Rayman Origins features sidescrolling platforming action with drop-in/drop-out co-op available for up to four players. Make your way through the Glade of Dreams with Rayman's best friend Globox and some Teensies and defeat the Darktoons that have infected the world.
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
As the big finale to this year's celebration of the 25th anniversary of Zelda, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword does a great job. Skyward Sword is set as a prequel to the entire Zelda series, revealing the origins of the Master Sword. The game utilizes the Wii Motionplus controller add-on as you perform all the classic Zelda tasks of sword fighting, dungeon exploration and puzzle solving. In particular, you must swing the Wiimote at the correct angle in order to hit the weak point of your enemies.
Power Rangers Samurai
Take on the role of a new generation of rangers in Power Rangers Samurai! Each ranger must master the ancient Samurai Symbols of Power, which gives them control over different elements: fire, water, sky, forest and earth. Summon your zords in classic Power Ranger style and defend Earth from the dark forces of the Netherworld!
