This week on Glee (Season 3, Episode 5), Rachel and Blaine try to tap into their sexuality. Read Kidzworld’s recap of “The First Time”, which aired November 8, 2011, to find out what happened!
Opening night of the school musical West Side Story is approaching quickly. Everyone is preparing for their roles, but Rachel and Blaine can’t quite get the romance right. Their problem? Artie says the play is about sexual awakening, something neither of them has experienced.
Rachel and Finn
Determined to do anything for her musical career, Rachel thinks she needs to lose her virginity in order to succeed in West Side Story. But, Finn isn’t impressed with her motives, since he wants it to be romantic. Upset, Rachel asks the other girls for advice. They tell her to wait, but she doesn’t want to listen. Rachel and Finn finally do the deed, but only once they feel the time is right.
Kurt and Blaine
Blaine heads back to his old school to pay a visit to the Warblers. He invites them to come see the musical, but then gets distracted by one of their members, Sebastian. All of the guys head out for a night on the town, and end up at a gay bar. Blaine starts to get a little frisky with Kurt, who isn’t impressed. He says he wants to wait until the right moment. Turns out the “right moment” was only a few days later after the first performance of the musical.
