Have you seen the Disney Channel’s A.N.T. Farm? If you have we’re sure you already love Stefanie Scott, who plays Lexi Reed on the show. The fourteen-year-old actress grew up in Chicago and Florida before moving to her current home in Los Angeles. Her first performance was the stage production of the famous musical Annie. After this Stefanie continued to pursue commercials and plays while also developing her singing voice.
Strong Start
In 2008 Stefanie landed a role in the movie Beethoven’s Big Break, which turned out to be Stef’s big break as well. The role caught the eye of many casting agents and she soon had guest appearances on Special Agent Oso, The New Adventures of Old Christine and Sons of Tucson. Stefanie was also cast in the 2011 film No Strings Attached with Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher. In the film Stefanie played the younger version of Natalie’s character.
Disney Star
All of Stefanie’s hard work paid off when she landed her own show on the Disney Channel. A.N.T. Farm, which premiered in May 2011, follows Chyna Parks, a music sensation who attends a special school for talented students. Stefanie plays Lexi Reed, the popular girl at school who feels threatened by Chyna and thinks she will steal all of the attention and her friends.
Musical Maven
In addition to acting, Stefanie loves to sing! She is currently working on an album and has recorded several singles including ‘Shoulda Woulda Coulda” and “The Girl I Used to Know”, which was released in summer 2011. Stay tuned for more information on her upcoming music.
