Whether big or small, fluffy or flat, dogs are becoming almost as famous as their owners. Check out some of our favorite celebs and their furry friends.
Lauren Conrad and Chloe
Lauren Conrad and former roommate Lo Bosworth adopted Chloe, a mix of lab and shepherd, from an animal shelter. Apparently Chloe likes to chew gum! "She'll go through our purses and find chewing gum," says The Hills star. "She chews it and then spits it out. I always know when she's been chewing it – she has minty breath!"
Blake Lively and Penny
Blake Lively rarely goes out without her best friend Penny, a caramel-colored maltipoo, by her side. In fact, Blake is almost always seen carrying Penny, even on the Gossip Girl set. Weighing in at less than five pounds, it’s not surprising to see why Penny could get exhausted walking all by herself.
Ryan Gosling and George
Ryan Gosling knows that a dog is a man’s best friend. He should, since he has had his pooch George for more than 10 years. George recently joined Ryan on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, sporting an oh-so cool mohawk.

Jonas Brothers and Elvis
Although Elvis was technically a birthday present for Nick, he shares the golden retriever with his brothers. The dog was named after musicians Elvis Presley and Elvis Costello.
