Ninjas and other fighters seem to be the theme this week as we preview Fruit Ninja Kinect for the XBox 360, Avalon Heroes for the PC, and Pucca Power Up for the Nintendo DS. However, though these three games share a similar theme, what they do with it is vastly different!
Fruit Ninja Kinect
The popular iPhone and iPad app game is now available on the big screen, with HD graphics and with motion control! Get some exercise and hone your reflexes as you karate chop various fruits in this super colorful game. Dangerous bombs and fruits with special powers make the game challenging while leaderboards and milestones will keep you coming back for more. Fruit Ninja Kinect will also have various modes, from the popular 60 seconds count down to two player co-op and competitive!
Avalon Heroes
Avalon Heroes is a free-to-play game for the PC and features over 100 unique heroes that you can use in various modes. There is the story driven scenario mode, where you can learn the background of your heroes and their factions. In arena mode, execute the perfect micro-management strategy of your hero to beat the legendary mob. There is also a battle mode, where factions compete against each other in a game similar to Defense of the Ancients, and adventure mode, where you can gather up to eight friends to defeat boss monsters.
Pucca Power Up
From online web series to TV show to international brand, Pucca arrives in the video game world in Pucca Power Up for the Nintendo DS. Follow the adventurous love story of Pucca, the daughter of a noodle seller with super strength, and Garu, a ninja looking to rebuild his family. Garu is always under attack from strange ninjas. Learn various skills from Master Su and make your through several side-scrolling platformer levels and mini-games.
