One of the greatest Zelda game of all time is back again, now in 3D! Check out The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D: Nintendo 3DS Game Review review on Kidzworld.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time first came out in 1998 for the Nintendo 64. Now the game has been remade for the Nintendo 3DS. With updated graphics and controls, it is safe to say that this game has only gotten better with time!

The Hero of Time

Story wise, the game is still the same. Players take on the role of Link, who must explore dungeons and defeat the evil Ganondorf in order to save Princess Zelda and the land of Hyrule. Link's adventure will take him to strange and faraway places and will eve have him travel back and forth in time! While the story is great, there is a lot of it, so be prepared to do a lot of reading.

Improvements and Upgrades

The entire game has gotten a graphic upgrade and the characters and textures look many times better than their blocky counterparts from over a decade ago. Additionally, 3D graphics has been added in a way that can only be described as effortless. Unlike some of the other games on the 3DS, it is very easy to maintain the 3D effect while playing Ocarina of Time 3D without straining your eyes and the 3D effects are very impressive, making the game much more enjoyable.

Additionally, the controls for Ocarina of Time has been improved. Instead just three buttons for your special items, you can now have four items ready at the same time! Two of the "buttons" are on your touch screen. The touch screen also allows you to easily explore dungeons, as you can see the map and also quickly toggle your gear, such as iron boots and fire tunic.

New features include a Boss Rush mode and Challenge mode. Overall, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D remake shows how amazing the original game was and does a great job keeping the legend alive.
