As the Americans watch Lebron James on his way to his first NBA title, and the Canadians are awaiting Roberto Luongo to bring Vancouver it's first Stanley Cup since 1917, the rest of the World was watching the two greatest soccer teams clash in the Champions League Final. Barcelona beats Manchester United 3-1!
Miracles Made of Messi
Lionel Messi was the man that proved to shine amongst all the top stars in this game. All three Barcelona goals were mezmerizing with Lionel leading the way. He scored one of them and made a jaw-dropping move to set up another. The guy plays soccer with the ball on a string. Argentinians have definitely got the best player in the World... I'm wondering if Argentina will be the next World Cup Champion as Lionel keeps getting better and better.
Spain's Spartans
Of course, Barcelona is a Spanish team and having just won the World Cup last year, they were not short of Superstars. Pedro and David Villa were the other two goal scorers who were both born and raised in Spain. Barcelona is by far the best team in the World.
Rooney Represents
Even though they lost, Manchester United still have probably more fans than any other team in the World. There is now an estimated 90 million Man U fans and that number probably grew a little bit more on this run to the Champions League Cup. Wayne Rooney scored their only goal and it was a beauty!
