The Funeral
For weeks Glee fans have been wondering just who will die on this week’s episode of glee. Turns out, it was Sue’s sister Jean. After Jean passes away, Sue turns on Becky and tells her she can’t be a Cheerio anymore. Upset, Becky asks to join New Directions, at which point Mr. Schu and the glee kids learn that the reason Becky was kicked off the team is that she reminds Sue of her sister. At this point the glee club rallies together to try to cheer up their nemesis, Sue Sylvester.
Jesse’s Return
Last week Rachel's ex-flame Jesse St. James returned and took her to prom. This week Mr. Schu tells the glee club that Jesse will be a show choir consultant for New Directions. In the spirit of last week, Jesse and Finn begin to fight, with Jesse telling Finn that he can’t sing well. In order to solve the disagreement and find the lead singer for Nationals, Jesse suggests a sing-off. This results in a competition between Kurt, Rachel, Mercedes and Santana.
Finn and Quinn vs. Rachel and Jesse
After last week’s prom episode, one could assume that Jesse and Rachel would pick up where they left off and become a couple again. And this is exactly what happens in this week’s episode, with no thanks to Finn. After hearing Sue’s speech at the funeral, Finn does some soul searching and realizes he and Quinn are not mean to be together. He also realizes he still has feelings for Rachel. But, before he gets the change to tell her Jesse makes his move.
Next week on the season finale of Glee, New Directions heads to New York for Nationals. Stay tuned for more Glee!
