Logan grew up in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas, but moved to Los Angeles at age 18 to pursue his dream of acting. He landed a small role in Friday Night Lights and later found out about the Big Time Rush casting call, which immediately caught his attention because of the singing aspect of the show. Although he lacked any formal training, music was a constant in his childhood.

“There was always music around the house, whether it was around the kitchen, banging on the table or singing out loud. My family is pretty musical,” he recalls. “Growing up, I’d listen to blues and old rock on the radio with my dad. I got a lot of my musical influences from older artists. Music is something I always loved doing, I just never thought I could do it.”

However, acting remains Logan’s biggest passion, and he is excited to pursue other dramatic roles in film and TV in the future. But for now, the Texas native is concentrating on all of the incredible opportunities that being in Big Time Rush has afforded him.

“I want to do it all,” he says. “I’m psyched to try out new endeavors and travel to so many different places and to work on things that I’m super passionate about. I think that’s what being a part of Nickelodeon and Big Time Rush has given me – the whole mindset to get deeply involved with the work that you do, and to love it.”
