Tron Legacy takes you into a tech realm where users can interact with codes – and even fight them! It’s Disney’s take on how we connect with the digital world, and it’s out on Blu-Ray – along with Tron the Original Classic – on April 5!

Tron: The Original Classic

The first Tron, made by Disney in the 1980s, had some pretty sweet special effects for the time that it was made – it even won an Oscar Award for technical achievement. The movie itself was about a tech guy (Kevin Flynn) trying to hack into a software company’s computer system in order to get more props for the work that he does creating programs and video games. Well, you could say his plan sort of backfires when he finds himself being held captive INSIDE what is essentially one of his own, giant computer games. Now, Kevin has to fight his way through the computer to find and destroy the main control program and get back to his own world.

Tron: Legacy

Years have passed, and Kevin’s son, Sam Flynn, has basically been orphaned by his dad, who’s disappeared inside his own technological creations. But when Sam gets a message that his father is in trouble, he leaps into the digital world to try and rescue him. Sam is helped by Quorra – a fearless female warrior he meets inside the programming.
