Keep up-to-date with all the latest video game releases! Kidzworld has all the latest games to keep watch for. This week, we preview The Sims Medieval, Mayhem 3D, and Swarm!
The Sims Medieval
The Sims have gone right out Medieval with their latest standalone game, which takes the freedom, creativity, and personal storylines of The Sims and takes it to the Middle Ages, allowing you to control any hero (or villain) and take on a new medieval ambition. You can find the fountain of youth, or conquer territories, or throw enemies in the infamous "Pit of Judgment." Virtually any regular old dark ages storyline can take place in this madcap medieval world with the wackiness of The Sims thrown in. Take on quests, level up, and live in a whole new Sim world.
Mayhem 3D
It's time for a good old-fashioned demolition derby, and if you want, you can play it in a good, new-fashioned way: in 3D! Pick your best muscle car, coupe, sedan, wagon, truck, or even monster truck, and start racing and crashing with the best of 'em to land the pole position and get the checkered flag. You even earn Mayhem Points for all the damage you inflict and even the damage you take, helping to unlock new levels in the game. Collect the parts knocked off of other vehicles for more bonus points, and be sure to try the cool minigames selection, including Duck Shoot and Part Collector.
Swarm
In a creative downloadable puzzle game from Hothead Games, you get to control an adorable and sometimes frustrating little group of blue creatures called the Swarm. To get this huge group past all the obstacles, they'll have to throw bombs, climb walls, and eventually sacrifice a lot of the original swarm just to keep somebody alive. So do your best to help them, and try to enjoy all the misfortune they face daily.
