Keep up-to-date with all the latest video game releases! Kidzworld has all the latest games to keep watch for. This week, we preview MLB 11: The Show, MLB 2K11, and Phantom Brave!
MLB 11: The Show
For the PlayStation 3 only, MLB 11: The Show claims to be the most accurate simulation of baseball around. You'll certainly feel that way as you go through Road to the Show mode, which lets you take your own created character through a realistic baseball career. New Pure Analog Control lets you hit with your right analog stick and pitch or field with accuracy. You can now play along with a friend in co-op mode, splitting up fielding duties and alternating batters.
MLB 2K11
For every major console, Major League Baseball 2K11 uses a revamped fielding system and new Total Control Pitching in its fight to become the top baseball game this year. You can test out the new pitching method as you try to be the first to record a pitched perfect game in MLB 2K11 for a $1 million prize! Pro tip: Cover athlete Roy Halladay pitched a perfect game in real life last year so... Maybe you should try using him!
Phantom Brave
Originally released on the PlayStation 2, Phantom Brave is an awesome tactical RPG now released two years ago for the Wii, but only this week finally coming to the PSP. Containing new PSP-exclusive characters (like Etna from the Prinny and Disgaea games), Phantom Brave is a classic that stands up just as well today. You play as a little girl with a special power to imbue spirits into everyday natural objects like rocks and trees to protect her, and she sells this combat power to the highest bidder (or more often, just to be nice). Take on quests or random dungeons to level up, gain mana, and use your fusion ability to power up characters and items.
