This week on Glee (Season 2, Episode 13), Sam channels his inner Justin Bieber and makes all the girls swoon. Plus, Sue has a big pity party. Check out our recap of “Comeback”, which aired on February 15, 2011.
Justin Bieber Experience
Ever since Quinn kissed Finn on the last episode of Glee, things have been weird between her and Sam. He doesn’t want to lose her, so he turns on the charm Justin Bieber-style. Sam starts his own band called the Justin Bieber Experience but he isn’t prepared for the effect it will have. Just like the real J.Biebs, as soon as Sam dons the classic purple hoodie and begins singing the words to “Baby” all the ladies in glee club fall in love.
Jealous and feeling the negative effects of Valentine’s Day, Mike, Puck and Artie try to get Sam to let them into the Justin Bieber Experience. Of course, Finn is left out of the band and is still trying to find a way to win over Quinn. In the end, Quinn chooses Sam because he is an artist and really turns her on in his purple hoodie. But, all is not well in paradise. Santana pops up at the last minute and offers to be Sam’s mistress. In the end he breaks things off with Quinn because he just can't trust her.
Pity Party
Mr. Schu and Emma find a sue-icide note on Sue’s desk and immediately fear the worst. But, they soon find Sue and she is very much alive and having a big pity party. In order to turn her frown upside down, Emma suggests that Sue join the glee club for the week. Turns out, Sue just wanted to get into the club so she could destroy it from within.
Sue plays Mercedes and Rachel off of each other and forces them to have a “diva off”. According to Rachel, in order to have a proper “diva off” the song must come from the catalogue of Broadway musical songs so they choose “Take Me or Leave Me” from Rent.
Next week’s episode, titled “Blame It On The Alcohol”, tackles underage drinking. Want to know what songs they will sing? Tune in for more Glee!
