Manhattan’s elite is back from winter break, and not much has changed. Except, of course, the budding friendship (or more?) between former enemies Blair and Dan. Serena spent the break searching for the judge who Lily paid to get her high school teacher Ben sent to jail. Unfortunately, even after being exposed as a manipulative liar, Lily never fails to interfere. She hides the judge in a Manhattan hotel so that Serena can’t find him. Meanwhile, she plans to sell Chuck’s father’s hotel. Chuck and Serena work together to serve Lily some justice.
Meanwhile, Blair is trying to find her place in life. She hopes to intern with one of the most powerful women in the country. And in doing so, she hurts her mother’s feelings. She may not want to wind up becoming a fashion designer like her mother, but there are other jobs in fashion that would better suit her talents. Perhaps an editor of a high fashion magazine?

Blair looked elegant in a striking Oscar De La Renta Fall 2010 Strapless Sequined Gown coupled with her Kotur Morley Satin Clutch. Talk about a showstopper!
Serena knows how to make casual look classy. She wore a grey Camilla and Marc Draped Knit that retails for $420 over top of a Maxime Simoens Spring Summer 2011 Opus 1 top.
When Blair is looking to make her mark in the working world, she knows how to dress the part. She wore a Louis Vuitton Resort 2009 Jacket and Skirt, and carried a Longchamp Tote.
