Question by Advice Needed
I cant play soccer until I pass this religious thing that is good for my life. I also want to play soccer, but I cant. How should I handle this? No soccer? Please help…
I’m not an expert on religious stuff, but if there are rules to follow for something that you consider “good for your life”, you have to follow those rules… 100%.
Religious Roadblock
Whatever reason you need to stop playing soccer until you pass this religious thing, you have to accept it if it is necessary to the faith and belief system of the religion. Religion is about honesty and you will not feel good about yourself if you cheat. Don’t worry, soccer will still be there when you pass.
Discussing Dilemmas
If you feel like not being allowed to play soccer is unfair, then don’t be shy to ask questions. Go straight to your preacher and find out why you’re not allowed to play soccer. Getting answers will put you at peace with this situation and you’ll probably feel better about your decision.
Freedom First
A lot of children are forced into the religion of their family. It’s important for you to realize that you are free to do what’s best for you. Always try to be honest with everyone… your family, your friends, but most importantly… yourself!
