Keep up-to-date with all the latest video game releases! Kidzworld has all the latest games to keep watch for. This week, we preview Super Scribblenauts, Sonic 4, and The Shoot!
Super Scribblenauts
Scribblenauts was the instant classic DS game that let you solve puzzles by typing in virtually any word and having its object appear on-screen. Yeah, nouns are alright, I guess. But Super Scribblenauts adds in adjectives! Yes, you can now describe your puzzle-solving objects to help them help you. So if the puzzle you're trying calls for a thick winged flying burning zombie, then you're still in business. Your creativity is unhinged, and you create your own puzzles for others to solve as well as action levels for others to platform through.
Sonic 4
Classic Sonic gameplay is back, the same fast-paced platformer action with a new 2.5D perspective. Sonic 4 is episodic, so this is only the first installment of all the action. This first episode is set right after Sonic & Knuckles (Sixteen years ago? Wow.) and Doctor Eggman has somehow survived the events of the last game. Sonic thought he would be taking a break, but Eggman's certainly not resting on his laurels for long. Sonic's the only playable character in Episode 1, but there's promise of at least Tails and Knuckles to come, and it's gonna be an exciting ride.
The Shoot
Become an action movie star with The Shoot, a shooting gallery-type game using the brand new Playstation Move technology. Your film shoots will range from battling ghosts to the Wild West to robots, the Mob, and underwater foes. Just point and shoot, taking advantage of the destructible environments to flush out your foes. Bonus items and deleted scenes may even show themselves if you shoot in some of the more hidden locations. Use your special abilities, Rampage, Showtime, and Shockwave to clear out those sets and impress your director.
