Down With Danni
Born in Jamaica with an exotic mix of Asian descent, Danni always felt a bit different. Her family first noticed her passion for singing when she was just one year old, when she figured out how to open the iron gates around her family’s property, crossed a busy street, crawled into a church and started singing. Her mom found her there three hours later! And just four years later, Danni made her debut with an astonishing stage performance in a recital.
Inspirations & Influences
Today, Danni’s generating quite the buzz in the music industry. She says that a few of her musical influences include Alicia Keys, Justin Timberlake and Jennifer Hudson. As for her own style, it’s versatile, and infused with positive messages that are meant to help her listneres build up their own self-esteem and self-confidence. Danni calls it “good-feeling music that makes you want to dance! The vibration of my music should touch everyone…that's what I want.... bringing you music that makes you want to move!”
Project Sunshine
Not only is she incredibly talented, Danni’s got a HUGE heart! She recently partnered up with a non-profit organization called Project Sunshine to spread a little sunshine to a self-esteem building dance camp for teenage girls in the foster care/group home system.
