Keep up-to-date with all the latest video game releases! Kidzworld has all the latest games to keep watch for. This week, we preview TrackMania, Need for Speed World, and HoopWorld!
TrackMania
Already a hit on the PC, the do-it-yourself racing game TrackMania is finally coming to the Wii this week. TrackMania lets you create the arcade racing action by creating and customizing several totally different kinds of car, and creating your own tracks with a ridiculously in-depth track builder. Roads can loop or twist or ramp up into monster jumps, and you've gotta keep your car on it as best you can. In fact, the road can be so hard to keep on that this game has "platformer" levels, in which you just have to stay on-course to win (easier said than done on these devilish course designs). Make what you race!
Need for Speed World
The Need for Speed series is going massively multiplayer on your PC this week! The series' traditional street racing/police chase gameplay is getting knocked up a notch with RPG-style stats and progression and new power-ups. You race in an open world environment made up of the worlds from Need for Speed Most Wanted and Carbon smashed together into one giant world. Challenge your friends and family online, or whoever else is playing at any time. You can get a free download to start off your online racing career at the Need for Speed website.
HoopWorld
If you thought basketball needed more Kung Fu moves (who hasn't?) then HoopWorld may be the Wiiware title for you. For 1000 Wii Points ($10) you and a friend can really "basketbrawl" on outdoor courts with seven different funky teams. I mean, pirates versus robots in basketball? Awesome. It has to be better than that one time they made a Kung Fu game with a little bit of basketball strewn in. Yes, Shaq Fu is a real game!
