JumpStart video games aren’t just fun – you’ll also learn a thing or two from playing them. There’s Pet Rescue and Adventure Island and, the latest game, Get Moving Family Fitness, featuring Brooke Burke, who just happens to be an expert in fitness!
So Many Sports
So guess what you’ll be learning about when you play Get Moving Family Fitness on your Wii - that’s right, you’ll be learning about exercise and getting fit. The first thing you do when you start playing this game is build a character for yourself. After that there’s a bunch of different sports games you can play: volleyball, boxing, balancing (using the Wii Balance Board, of course), football, racing, etc. Plus, under each sport there’s a number of different options you can play. For example, under racing, you can try a flying race, a speed skating race, a bike race or a gold old-fashioned track running race.
Fun & Fitness
We gotta say, the games are really fun to play and you really hardly even notice that you’re getting a great workout while you’re playing them! It’s also nice to get advice and tips from the fitness expert on this game, Brooke Burke. We love that there are so many sports to choose from – 15 in total – and a ton of different environments to play in, like underwater, on a farm, in ancient Egypt and eight other locations! You can also build your own, customized routines for an extra fitness challenge, and play either on your own or with a friend.
