We sat down with Bella Thorne, a gorgeous and talented actress who’s starred on hit TV shows like Wizards of Waverly Place and The O.C., as well as over 40 TV commercials worldwide! In fact, Bella is the face of Mudd Jeans, H&M, Limited’s Justice, GAP, Ralph Lauren, Guess, ALDO and many more!
Kidzworld: How old were you when you started modeling and acting?
Bella: I started modeling at six weeks old and acting at nine years old. I’m 12 years and 8 months old now!
Kidzworld: How did you get into modeling? What sort of modeling work do you do?
Bella: I started in modeling by accident. My older siblings used to do it and then clients wanted to use me for photo shoots, too. I have modeled for top designers in fashion, some runway and many magazine editorials like Vogue, Vogue Bambini, Elle, Child, Parents, etc.

Kidzworld: Do you have any brothers or sisters? Are they also interested in modeling/acting?
Bella: Yes. I have two sisters and brother. My older sister Dani and brother Remy started modeling before I did. All of them love acting.
Kidzworld: What was your first acting gig and how did you get it?
Bella: It was a skit for Jimmy Kimmel Live and I had to audition, get a call back, and then book it.

Kidzworld: You've acted in several commercials - which was your favorite and why?
Bella: Texas Instruments/DLP commercials. I was the spokes-kid for a series for two years and I made such wonderful friends from the company. And, I got to work with an elephant! It was amazing!
Kidzworld: What are you working on right now?
Bella: I am working on a new Disney Channel show called Shake It Up! I hope everyone watches and loves it as much as I do!!!

Kidzworld: What's your ultimate goal in the future?
Bella: I want to go to college at USC and have time to do charity work. Of course, I plan on acting and dancing anytime that I can.
Kidzworld: How do you balance work with school and just being a regular kid?
Bella: You have to have a schedule, hahahaha! I work and do school and on the weekends, I get to hang out with all my friends and do fun, regular things like bowling, movies, shopping and frozen yogurt trips.

Kidzworld: Do you have any pets? Can you tell us about them?
Bella: Oh my, YES! I have a wolf-hybrid dog, a cocker spaniel, six cats, one turtle and one underwater frog. I'm hoping to get a dwarf bunny, too!
Kidzworld: What advice would you give to kids who love modeling/acting, too, and want to do it professionally?
Bella: Get a good agent! Also, no matter how many NOs you get if you keep trying, you will get a YES! Do what you love and do it just for yourself and everything else will come along …
