After France unfairly beat Ireland to get into the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, Pizza Hut restaurants in Ireland promised free pizza to Irish fans every time France lets in a goal. France let in two more goals today and the Irish are cashing in on pepperoni and mozzerella.

If you didn’t hear about it, France and Ireland played in a match where the winner would get to go to this year’s World Cup in South Africa. After a long grueling game deadlocked at 0-0, France scored a goal after Thierry Henry got away with a hand-ball. Ireland were totally cheated out of a fair match to decide who would go to the World Cup, and they have declared war by rewarding French misfortunes with free pizza.

South Africa scored another 2 goals against France today beating them 2-1 and eliminating them from the tournament so Irish Fans have been eating large… with mushrooms and extra cheese.

The win by South Africa put them in a tie with Mexico who lost to Uruguay 1-0. Unfortunately for the Bafana Bafana, the tie is broken with a goal-differential system that will advance Mexico to the next round with Uruguay. South Africa is the very first host-country to NOT advance to the 2nd round at the World Cup.
