No school during the summer means plenty of time to take in some cool new movies. We’ve got a preview for you of some of the blockbusters that are coming to theatres near you – including Marmaduke, The A-Team and Ramona And Beezus – in June and July of 2010!
Marmaduke: June 3
Marmaduke, the world's most lovable Great Dane, leaps from comic strips to the big screen on June 4. In the film the super-sized dog who never fit in finally finds a place where it's OK to stand out. While Marmaduke helps his family move from the Midwest to Orange County, CA, he discovers that fitting in with new four-legged friends isn't always easy for a 200-pound teenage dog. Luckily, he has his "step-bro" and best pal, Carlos, a Russian Blue Cat, watching his back.
The A-Team: June 11
The A-Team follows the exciting and daring exploits of a colorful team of former Special Forces soldiers who were set up for a crime they did not commit. They use their unique talents to try and clear their names and find the true culprit. The movies even stars a real mixed martial arts champ: Quinton "Rampage" Jackson!
Ramona And Beezus: July 23
The adventures of young Ramona Quimby (newcomer Joey King) and her big sister Beezus (Selena Gomez) come to life in this all new film based on the best-selling books (over 30 million ... and counting) by Beverly Cleary. Ramona's vivid imagination, boundless energy, and accident-prone antics keep everyone she meets on their toes. But her irrepressible sense of fun, adventure and mischief come in handy when she puts her mind to helping save her family's home.
