Audition Online is a free-to-play rhythm game for your computer. Called X-Beats in Korea, where the game originates, you can create your own character and make it dance to various popular songs from around the world.
A Familiar Game
If you have played any rhythm game before, you will easily be able to jump right into the action of Audition. The most common mode in the game involves hitting a bunch of arrow keys in the correct order and then hitting the space bar. The space bar must be hit on the fourth beat of the song, so you can nod your head to the music and know how long you have to punch in the keys.
Even with practice, getting a perfect in this game is hard! Sometimes you will have to hit eight arrow keys in the correct order within four beats. On a fast song, like one by Lady Gaga, this is no easy task! If you get better, you can even try playing with diagonal arrows added in.
Cash, Beats, Fashion
While the best things in life are free, a lot of good things in Audition are not. You can play for free, but the clothes and items that you get for your character costs cash and beats. Beats can be earned by playing the game, but BanaCash must be bought with real money. Of course, you do not have to spend money if you do not want to, it just depends on your tastes.
On Line Dancing
Audition updates regularly, at least once a month. With every update there are new songs and lots of new items. Also with these updates are new modes. If you get bored of the base game, try ballroom dancing where you work together with a partner. There is also Beat-Up Mode, which is more like Rock Band or Dance Dance Revolution.
Of course, the best part of playing games online is meeting people. You will be able to join player groups, called FAMs, and work together to be the best on the net!
