Ampharos Pokémon

Type: Electric

Weight” 135.6 lbs
The bright light on the tip of Ampharos’s tail can be seen for miles around. Since ancient times, it’s been treasured as a beacon of light for those who are lost.

Azumarill Pokémon

Type: Water
Height: 2’07”
Weight” 62.8 lbs
When Azumarill listens closely it can tell what type of Pokemon are in any kind of moving water – even wild, fast-moving rivers.


Bayleef Pokémon

Type: Grass
Height: 3’11”
Weight” 34.8 lbs
When you’re around a Bayleef you might notice a sweet, spicy smell wafting through the air. The leaves around its neck are the source of this aroma, which can help to restore health. But beware: the smell also makes Pokemon want to fight!


Bellossom Pokémon

Type: Grass
Height: 1’04”
Weight” 12.8 lbs
Bellossom are plentiful in the tropics, where the sometimes gather and dance, their petals rubbing together to make a pleasant ringing sound. Some say they dance to summon the sun.


Blissey Pokémon

Type: Normal
Height: 4’11”
Weight” 103.2 lbs
Blissey are very compassionate. If it sees a sick Pokémon it will nurse it back to health.


Celebi Pokémon

Type: Psychic-Grass
Height: 2’00”
Weight” 11 lbs
Celebi can travel through time but may only appear in times of peace.


Crobat Pokémon

Type: Poison-Flying
Height: 5’11”
Weight” 165.3 lbs
Crobat’s four wings let it fly so swiftly and silently through the night it’s almost impossible to detect.


Croconaw Pokémon

Type: Water
Height: 3’07”
Weight” 55.1 lbs
When Croconaw chomps down on an opponent it may lose one of its 48 teeth, but will quickly grow another.


Cyndaquil Pokémon

Type: Fire
Height: 1’08”
Weight” 17.4 lbs
Cyndaquil is one of the first Pokemon new trainers receive when they come to Johto. They are timid and like to curl up in a little ball, so try not to startle them. If you do, flames will shoot out of their backs!


Dunsparce Pokémon

Type: Normal
Height: 4’11”
Weight” 30.9 lbs
Dunsparce has wings but is only strong enough to float just above the ground. If it’s under attack it will escape backward by boring its tail into the ground.


Entei Pokémon

Type: Fire
Height: 6’11”
Weight” 436.5 lbs
When massive Entei roars, a volcano erupts somewhere! In fact, some believe a new one is born every time a new volcano appears on Earth.


Feraligatr Pokémon

Type: Water
Height: 7’07”
Weight” 195.8 lbs
Feraligatr is so big it has a hard time supporting its own weight when it’s out of water so it likes to get down on all fours in battle and chomp its opponents between its powerful jaws.


Flaaffy Pokémon

Type: Electric
Height: 2’07”
Weight” 29.3 lbs
Flaaffy’s fluffy fleece stores electricity, and its rubbery skin keeps it from being electrocuted.


Furret Pokémon

Type: Normal
Height: 5’11”
Weight” 71.6 lbs
Furret’s tail is so long it’s impossible to tell where its body ends and its tail begins! It may not look very intimidating, but it’s quick and a very good hunter.


Gligar Pokémon

Type: Ground-Flying
Height: 3’07”
Weight” 142.9 lbs
Gligar likes to hang off the sides of cliffs. When it spots its prey it swoops down to attack by spreading its wings.


Hitmontop Pokémon

Type: Fighting
Height: 4’07”
Weight” 105.8 lbs
Hitmontop is known to spin so fast, it bores its way into the ground.


Ho-Oh Pokémon

Type: Fire-Flying
Height: 12’06”
Weight” 438.7 lbs
Ho-Oh soars through the sky without ever stopping. Rainbows form behind it when it flies through crystal skies.


Hoothoot Pokémon

Type: Normal-Flying
Height: 2’04”
Weight” 46.7 lbs
Nocturnal Hoothoot only come out at night and only stand on one foot at a time, changing feet so fast it’s hard to spot. They also have a perfect sense of time, which they keep track of by tilting their heads in precise rhythm.


Hoppip Pokémon

Type: Grass-Flying
Height: 1’04”
Weight” 1.1 lbs
Hoppip are so light they have to grip the ground tightly to keep from being blown away in the wind.


Houndoom Pokémon

Type: Dark-Fire
Height: 4’07”
Weight” 77.2 lbs
When other Pokemon hear Houndoom’s eerie cries they flee back to their nests. It is said that if you’re burned by the flames that shoot from its mouth the pain will never go away.


Houndour Pokémon

Type: Dark-Fire
Height: 2’00”
Weight” 23.8 lbs
Houndour are pack Pokemon that use different pitches in their cries to communicate their feelings with others of their kind.


Igglybuff Pokémon

Type: Normal
Height: 1’00”
Weight” 2.2 lbs
If Igglybuff starts to roll, its elastic body will bounce all over the place and is almost impossible to stop.


Lanturn Pokémon

Type: Water-Electric
Height: 3’11”
Weight” 49.6 lbs
Lanturn is nicknamed the Deep-Sea Star because its light is so bright it even illuminates the sea’s depths.


Larvitar Pokémon

Type: Rock-Ground
Height: 2’00”
Weight” 158.7 lbs
Larvitar is born underground and can’t emerge until it’s devoured the soil around it. If it eats a mountain it will fall asleep so it can grow.


Ledian Pokémon

Type: Bug-Flying
Height: 4’07”
Weight” 78.5 lbs
The patterns on Ledian’s back grow larger and smaller depending on the number of stars in the night sky.


Ledyba Pokémon

Type: Bug-Flying
Height: 3’03”
Weight” 23.8 lbs
Ledyba frighten easily when alone but are active and rambunctious in groups. When winter comes and it gets cold, they come together from all over and huddle up to keep warm.


Lugia Pokémon

Type: Psychic-Flying
Height: 17’01”
Weight” 476.2 lbs
Lugia is the ruler of the seas, so powerful it prefers to spend its time at the bottom of the ocean.


Marill Pokémon

Type: Water
Height: 1’04”
Weight” 18.7 lbs
Marill uses the ball at the end of its tail as a floatation device. The ball is filled with a special kind of oil that’s lighter than water.


Miltank Pokémon

Type: Normal
Height: 3’11”
Weight” 166.4 lbs
Miltank’s milk is packed with nutrition, making it the ultimate beverage for the sick or weary.
