OK. Put on your green ears and hang on tight. Its the fourth (and final) chapter in the film franchise that took so-called scary ogres and made them … well, sensational! Check out Kidzworlds review of Shrek Forever After - in 3D!

Tiny Villain
Every movie needs a bad guy, and Shrek Forever After's got a pint-sized one: Rumpelstiltskin. He's tiny, but he's mean. He's also a magic dealmaker, and he's ready to pounce when he overhears Shrek complaining about his life as a family man (remember, he married Princess Fiona and now the couple's got three adorable ogre-kids). Shrek longs to be able to go back to the "good old days," when he was considered a mean and scary ogre and villagers scattered when he came walking their way - and Rumpel's the guy who can grant his wish. Once Shrek signs on the dotted line, Rumpel gives him one day of his "old" life back - before marriage and kids - and, in exchange takes one of Shrek's past days in return. The only problem? He takes Shrek's BIRTHday and, as a result, it's like the friendly green ogre never even existed.
Never After
Basically, Shrek has one day to figure out how to break the deal with Rumpel and get his old life back. Unfortunately, none of his friends or family members remembers him. That's right - he has to convince Donkey that they're BFFs, make Puss see that he should be in Boots AND get Fiona to believe not only that he's her one true love, but also to plant a kiss on him to reverse the spell and get things back to normal.
Wigs & Waffles & Witches … Oh My!
If you're expecting Shrek Forever After to be as hilarious as the movies that came before it - you're in luck! Rumpelstiltskin may be mean, but he's entertaining, changing his wigs as often as he changes his mood, and his witchy army seems unstoppable - unless you throw a glass of water at them (note to self: witches HATE water! It makes them melt!). Puss has become a bit of a ... well, FAT CAT. And Donkey STILL can't resist a waffle. This movie is definitely full of laughs - but it also sends a feel-good message about life, love, counting your blessings and seeing how good you've got - you never know when it could all be taken away.
