Guitar Hero Van Halen
Guitar Hero Van Halen is the latest band-specific Guitar Hero game, with 28 Van Halen tunes mixed in with 19 guest acts hand-picked by the members of Van Halen. In the game, you can play as any of the current members of Van Halen (Eddie, Alex, Wolfgang, and David) or create your own rockers for use on the guest acts. The guest acts include music from Weezer, Judas Priest, The Clash, Queen, and Tenacious D, to give some examples. Some of these solos will be just ridiculous to play on guitar, they're just ridiculously tough, but awesome.
Hotel Dash: Suite Success
Hotel Dash: Suite Success follows Flo from the popular Diner Dash games as she takes her time-management skills into the hotel business. Run around to keep all your tenants happy, upgrading and renovating each room of the hotel as best you can. The game promises to be even more fast-paced, given just how much you have to do: carry luggage, send room service, clean rooms, decorate, and on an on. But in the game, it's fun!
AiRace
Exclusively for the new DSiWare service, Christmas Day sees the release of AiRace and the smaller, cheaper AiRace: Tunnel. Both are airplane stunt and racing games for your DS, and from trailers so far, they look pretty smooth and impressive. You pilot a number of different airplanes against the computer on a number of different courses, including canyons, ice worlds, a city, etc. AiRace costs 800 Nintendo Points and AiRace: Tunnel costs 200.
