Even though it's not a traditional Chanukah (also spelled Hanukkah) song, actor and comedian Adam Sandler sure has done a great job spreading the word about the Jewish holiday!
The Chanukah Song
The Chanukah Song is a funny tune (actually, three funny tunes) written and performed by Adam Sandler, who is pretty proud of being Jewish! In the original version of the song, Sandler sings that there are a lot of Christmas songs, but not many Chanukah songs, and this is his way of changing that! Since then the song's been featured on TV shows (Saturday Night Live) and movies Adam Sandler's Eight Crazy Nights). Watch as we break down this oh-so-popular song!
