Keep up-to-date with all the latest video game releases! Kidzworld has all the latest games to keep watch for. This week, we preview New Super Mario Bros, LEGO Indiana Jones 2, Tony Hawk Ride, and LittleBigPlanet PSP!
New Super Mario Bros. Wii
New Super Mario Bros. is just that: The classic Super Mario Bros. 2D platformer gameplay with some updated graphics and all-new abilities and suits and stuff. Super Mario Bros. 3 was undoubtedly great, some say the greatest game of all time, and it's still unbelievably fun to play. So, Nintendo said, why not just give them more of what works, and add in hilarious local multiplayer and some penguin suit abilities? Pure genius.
LEGO Indiana Jones 2
If you like great kid-friendly games, surely you've played some of these LEGO action platformers by now. There's almost nothing better out there for just having pure fun, especially when played co-op with a friend. This is the second LEGO Indiana Jones game, and it adds in some material from "The Crystal Skull" and even new stuff from the previous three movies. Most importantly, though, there's an all-new world builder which lets you build your own levels in-game, similar to LittleBigPlanet.
Tony Hawk Ride
The legendary Tony Hawk series has taken a bit of a beating from the upstart Skate series the past couple of years. Activision let their series get a bit stale, but now they're pulling out all the stops and introducing an actual skateboard peripheral with some serious technology on its side to knock the realism up a notch. You grab the board to do a grab. You push on the floor to speed up. It all just works, and it's pretty incredible.
LittleBigPlanet PSP
This should be quick: It's more LittleBigPlanet for the PSP! What is there not to like! It's made up of all-new levels, which some people are saying are actually better than the PS3 ones, and it's, you know, portable! You can still make your own levels, and customize your sackboy, and everything! It's LittleBigPlanet!
