Keep up-to-date with all the latest video game releases! Kidzworld has all the latest games to keep watch for. This week, we preview The Beatles: Rock Band, Mini Ninjas, and Go Play City Sports!
The Beatles: Rock Band
The Beatles are re-invading America (and Canada, and everywhere else, I suppose) on 09/09/09, with their new album remasters, and (more importantly for us!) The Beatles: Rock Band! The now-traditional Rock Band/Guitar Hero gameplay is finally brought to Beatles music, along with some unbelievable graphics chronicling the band's history. Everyone's able to sing at once in some songs now, giving extra points for matching The Beatles' harmonies (easier said than done, I can tell you). If you're a Beatles fan at all, this is an unbelievable game.
Mini Ninjas
Mini Ninjas is probably the cutest Beat-em-up you'll see all year, even though it involves ninjas! You control a number of ninjas and certain animals as you take down an evil samurai warlord to save the world. By switching between all the characters, you can strategize to take down each of your enemies as you move through each level. You have to check this one out, you may be surprised.
Go Play City Sports
Go Play City Sports lets you play a number of urban past-times, from stickball and jump rope to handball and street hockey. Choosing from teams of robots, rabbits, and, uh, people, you go through the motions of each city sport against your friends or the computer. The graphics are cool and cartoony, and the sports are fun if not quite Wii Sports-level.
Daisy Rock Girl Guitars Sweepstakes
You can get in on a chance at winning Guitar Hero 5 (with a guitar) for the system of your choice, a special girl-friendly electric guitar, and a package of songbooks and DVDs to help you get started learning how to play guitar for real.
