SpongeBob's Greatest Hits CD

The recently released SpongeBob's Greatest Hits CD features music by Cee-Lo and Pink. In fact, later this year, Pink is set to appear as herself in a live-action sequence during an episode of the show.

The CD

The album includes 17 tracks of original music from the past 10 years of the SpongeBob SquarePants series, as well as new hits like "We've Got Scurvy," an original song performed by Pink, and a remix of the SpongeBob SquarePants theme song performed by Cee-Lo Green of Gnarls Barkley. Also included as a holiday bonus track titled "Don't Be a Jerk (It's Christmas)," a new song, co-written by Tom Kenny, the voice of SpongeBob, and Andy Paley.

Pink’s Appearance

Later this year, Pink will appear as herself in a live-action sequence that will air during a special episode of SpongeBob SquarePants. The special also will include Cee-Lo's interpretation of the SpongeBob SquarePants theme song, set to an all-new opening sequence.

Happy Birthday Dear SpongeBob!

Nickelodeon also will celebrate SpongeBob SquarePants' 10th anniversary with a number of DVD releases. First, SpongeBob will turn Bikini Bottom upside down in search of new shorts in SpongeBob SquarePants: To SquarePants or Not To SquarePants, available beginning July 21. Then, in a true testament to the series, a special compilation of SpongeBob SquarePants' First 100 Episodes will hit retail on Sept. 22, packed with exclusive special features.
