Keep up-to-date with all the latest video game releases! Kidzworld has all the latest games to keep watch for. This week, we preview Tales of Monkey Island, The Bigs 2, and Cid the Dummy!
Tales of Monkey Island
Telltale Games, makers of the brilliant Wallace & Gromit and Sam & Max adventure games, are now making sequels to the classic Monkey Island games! We can continue following the story of our hero, Guybrush Threepwood, in Telltale's typically hilarious storyline. I can't wait to see July 7th what LeChuck will be up to next. Coming out for Wii and PC.
The Bigs 2
2K Sports already released MLB 2K9 this year, but most were more excited for the release of The Bigs 2, their arcade-y and over-the-top baseball game that's a bit like the old NFL Blitz game. The Bigs simplifies the game down to its base levels, giving players everything from crazy billboard-busting home runs to legendary catches that can be triggered with a quickfire button combination. With the sequel's new season mode, players are now finally able to play more than basically just a game at a time, too, so this is definitely worth looking at for baseball fans.
Cid the Dummy
CID (Crash Impact Dummy) is a 3d platformer for the PSP, PS2, and Wii that combines regular platforming gameplay with puzzles and clever tricks to get through boss battles. You have to guide CID through the hideouts of the evil D-Troit to save Professor Werken's daughter. This one has barely shown up on the gaming radar this summer, but looks like lots of fun.
AddictingGames
AddictingGames, the famous flash game network, is coming to the iPhone! One thing the iPhone has been mostly lacking is a good, centralized place to find great games, and also good reviews and high scores to work with, and this new network has all of that down. Look for several popular AddictingGames, uh, games to come out soon to your iPhone or iPod Touch.
