Keep up-to-date with all the latest video game releases! Kidzworld has all the latest games to keep watch for. This week, we preview Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Ice Age 3, and the Hardy Boys!
Harry Potter
The Harry Potter movies are nearing their conclusion, and so are the video games. In this game, there's an even larger Hogwarts environment to explore, more hidden challenges and rooms, and, most importantly, Quidditch! All the characters and their movie actors have contributed, making the game look almost indistinguishable from the film. If that's not enough, now we've also got multiplayer wizard duels! No-brainer for Harry Potter fans.
Ice Age 3
Regardless of whether or not dinosaurs and mammoths really hung out, it's definitely way cooler that they are in Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs! In the video game, you get to play as Manny, Sid, Diego, Scrat, and the new guy, Buck in this platformer-adventure game. Multiplayer is getting an upgrade, with everything from snowball fights to outrunning dinosaurs! The Wii version has special motion controls extra over the other versions, which help you navigate the game's 15 varied levels.
The Hardy Boys
Fans of Frank and Joe Hardy or adventure games and the Nintendo DS will have something to celebrate this September as The Hardy Boys: Treasure on the Tracks comes out. This time, the Hardy Boys are looking for the Romanov family's treasure all across Europe! Ride the rails and solve puzzles, interview passengers, and search train cars for clues! The makers of the game have done a great job with the Nancy Drew series, which makes this news about the Hardy Boys all the more exciting.
