Keep up-to-date with all the latest video game releases! Kidzworld has all the latest games to keep watch for. This week, we preview Guitar Hero: Smash hits, The Ghostbusters Video Game, and Swords & Soldiers!
Guitar Hero: Smash Hits
Guitar Hero: Smash Hits is basically a "greatest hits" game for all the best songs from old Guitar Hero games, wrapped into one title in which the whole band can play! From Dragonforce to Blue Oyster Cult, now you can rock with any instrument on a selection of the best songs from the guitar-only Guitar Hero games. If rocking out to Carry On My Wayward Son never got old, then now you can play it again, and with the drums and singing along with it!
Ghostbusters: The Video Game
Ghostbusters is back, in video game form, and it actually has the original cast and writers, but it's an all-new story! In this game, you create your own new member of the Ghostbusters team, and, well, join up to bust some ghosts! Whether you like the original movie or the cartoon, you've probably seen some Ghostbusters at some point, and this video game keeps the Ghostbusters universe alive with a new adventure, which is great news for everybody. Now you just have to wait for Ghostbusters III in 2010 (yes, it's for real).
Swords & Soldiers
From the makers of the awesome game De Blob comes Swords & Soldiers, a new Wiiware title that's out now! It's a side-scrolling real-time strategy game, but it's way cooler than that sounds! It's drawn like a cartoon, and lets you choose to play as either the Vikings, Chinese, or Aztecs to battle it out with quick, action-packed deployment of troops and magic powers. If you're interested in a little strategy and a little humor, this could make for one awesome weekend of play.
