Equilibrio is basically a puzzle game that has you rolling a ball through a level, avoiding obstacles and getting to the exit as quickly as you can. To make things interesting, you are tilting the game world with the Wii Remote or your Balance Board. Well, let's get the ball rolling.
Lots of Game for Little Money
With several modes and ninety levels, there's plenty of ball-rolling action to keep you busy. Each level is usually pretty short, but you should get several hours out of it in one playthrough. Playing with more than one player can keep things fresh as well, as will challenge mode.Too Easy or Too Hard
A lot of the levels are too easy. You don't even think, you just mindlessly plow through the level. Very few of the levels are really like "puzzles" at all, it's almost more like a platformer with new controls. Then there are the frustrating levels, in which you die over and over without a whole lot of control. The game lacks the right fun factor, as it can't find that perfect balance between easy and hard that people like. If you can't beat a level, the game will offer to let you skip it eventually, though.
Sufferin' Spheres
There are a couple of irritating features to this game that take the rating down from a rating of 3 joysticks to 2.
One of the ball types is stone, and it can break from simply falling too quickly or too far. Unfortunately, on some levels you'll end up dying over and over due to this, even when you're not really screwing up. You don't feel like you did anything wrong if you do the same thing twice and one time the ball breaks and one time it doesn't. That's not fun.
