Keep up-to-date with all the latest video game releases! Kidzworld has all the latest games to keep watch for. This week, we preview Excitebots: Trick Racing, 101-in-1 Explosive Megamix, and The Beatles: Rock Band.
Excitebots Takes Racing to the Next Level
What's wrong with racing games today, you ask? You can't play darts at the same time. Excitebots: Trick Racing allows you to, using tools coming from out of your car to play darts, bowling, and even poker while also racing your opponents like in a normal racing game. Your cars also appear to be based off of different animals like bats and turtles, giving each one special abilities to move through the track. If the Burnout series isn't extreme enough for you, this may be the game for you.Mix It Up, 101 Times Over
101-in-1 Explosive Megamix is basically what is sounds like: 101 small games for your DS in one package. All the games (which include a million things, like basketball, a top-down racer of sorts, and my personal favorite, curling) are bigger than you might find in Warioware but much smaller than regular games. Still, with 101 of them, you can't really go wrong. Watch this trailer for a better idea of what's in the game.
The Beatles: Rock Band
It has been announced this week that The Beatles: Rock Band will release on September 9th, 2009 (09-09-09). This is the first band-specific Rock Band game, though Guitar Hero has teamed up with Aerosmith and Metallica in the past, The Beatles are even bigger. The makers of the game aren't telling us a whole lot just yet, but there are rumors that there will be support for multiple microphones for harmonic voice parts. This will be a lot easier if you buy the bundle, because it includes a mic stand, which will let you play guitar and sing at the same time. This is going to be a pretty huge deal, so watch out for it in five months' time.
