Been feeling chilly this winter? Well, imagine putting on a wetsuit, swimming across an icy river and then crawling through a huge heap of mud!
That’s exactly what 250 people did in Essex in England, for the annual Maldon Mud Race.
The tradition began 30 years ago after a pub manager offered a free drink to anyone who could cross the muddy water and get back again.
Today, people do it for charity – and in all sorts of wacky outfits!
After trudging through the mud, the crawlers raised 20,000 pounds for charity this year.
