Madagascar Escape 2 Africa: Exclusive Preview Video

They're short, they're well-dressed and they're up to no good! Skipper, Kowalski, Rico and Private are the four wacky penguins from [kwlink]Madagascar[/kwlink] and they're back in Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa - the movie and the video game. Both are arriving in early November, one to theaters and the other to DS, PC, PS2, PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii. With the movie you get to sit on your butt and chow on popcorn, but the game lets you control the movie heroes - Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, Gloria the Hippo plus the penguins, King Julian and the new dude - Moto the hippo. So, Um, What's Going On?

Ok, you've seen the video, but what's the game about? It's 12 levels that challenge you to run, jump, swim, drive and race around as well as get into [kwlink]sports mini-games[/kwlink] and even whip out a camera for some [kwlink]safari photography[/kwlink]. There are also a pile of mini-games and multiplayer tournament modes where you can kick your friends' (or your mom's!) butt.

They've got the Moves!

Each of the characters in the game has special moves. Check out the info!

Alex the Lion - He's a great jumper with a loud roar and mad mango-throwing skills. His special moves let him slide down vines and climb poles or walls.

Marty the Zebra - With [kwlink]insane speed[/kwlink] and huge jumps, Marty gets around. His kick can also stomp bad guys and move stuff around.

Melman the Giraffe - He has mad dance moves, heals like [kwlink]Wolverine[/kwlink], throws like Brett Favre and even takes to the air like a brightly colored helicopter.

Gloria the Hippo - Being large and in charge lets her knock bad guys flying and shove stuff around. But, she's also a great swimmer and would have made the Olympic diving team if she wasn't busy being awesome in Africa.

The Penguins - More cunning than a sack full of [kwlink]James Bond[/kwlink], these sneaky critters are masters of stealth with the skills to fish for food and work most human devices - including driving cars and more!

King Julian - He can get to higher ground to grab stuff and can teach moves with his knack for putting on a show.

Moto the hippo - This new star is a dancin' machine with the moves to tackle the dance challenges.
