Start your own Pokemon ranch with this new downloadable game from the Nintendo Wii’s WiiWare channel! Here’s the scoop.
Pokemon are everywhere and, with the My Pokemon Ranch WiiWare game for Nintendo Wii you can drop your Mii into the middle of all your Pokemon and let the cute critters run wild. To get this game, you need a Nintendo Wii hooked up to the internet so you can hop onto the WiiWare channel and grab this game from the big list of downloadable games available! Here's the scoop on the game so you know what you're getting into.
Wrangling Poke-Critters
1,000 Wii Points (about $10) lets you download My Pokemon Ranch and then you can jump into it from the Wii Menu anytime. It's a virtual ranch where Hayley cares for Pokemon - she starts with a few but you can connect your DS to drop Pokemon from Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl onto the ranch. Hayley adds more stuff to the ranch too, making it bigger as it fills up with Pokemon. She also checks out your Pokedex and gives you hints about where you can capture new Pokemon!Ranch-of-Awesome
The coolest part of My Pokemon Ranch is that it lets your Pokemon hang out with your Mii! Then you can grab the camera, take pictures, let them visit other ranches online and more. It's a fun way to show off your Pokemon collection to your friends!Snore Time...
Got good graphics? This game doesn't. The Pokemon ranch is really plain and part of that is because there isn't a lot to do other than take pictures of your Pokemon running around on the grass and playing with the occasional toy. Also, unless you have Pokemon Diamond or Pokemon Pearl, it really doesn't do much at all.WiiWare For The Win?
This downloadable WiiWare game is a cute add-on for Pokemaniacs who already have Pokemon Diamond or Pokemon Pearl. It helps you find Pokemon to catch and gives you a fun new way to play online. Unfortunately, the graphics are weak and there isn't a lot to do on the ranch. But, for just a couple of bucks, this is a fun little game for Pokemon fans!Thumbs Up:
