Battle aztech warriors and big banditos as El Tigre and his friends in this PS2 video game. Is it fun? Find out with Gary’s game review!
The action-packed adventure of Nickelodeon's El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera cartoon have arrived for the PS2! When the nasty Mikla, Prince of Doom, and his minions, attack Miracle City they capture Puma Loco and White Pantera. It's up to El Tigre and his friends Frida and Black Cuervo to stop the banditos and save the day, with a little help from you. Here's the scoop on the game with Gary's El Tigre game review.
Saving the Day, Rivera Style
As Manny Rivera's alter-ego, El Tigre, you need to collect Macho points by running, jumping and whalloping bad guys. There are four bandito-bashing levels, with some super-jump challenges, plus two downhill shopping cart racing levels to unlock. You can also swap from El Tigre to Frida or Black Cuervo as you play.Macho Moves!
The good news is that this game is so simple any gamer can play and it's only $20! You get to play as El Tigre and team, plus White Pantera once you've finished the game. The levels are pretty cool too - with energetic music and some cool moments as banditos and massive monsters run around crushing stuff. There's Poo Everywhere...
The biggest bummer about this game is that it's barely more than an online flash game! There are only six levels and they're fairly hard - you'll spend a lot of time getting frustrated as you get killed over and over. Sometimes even bird poo will kill you! Unfortunately the fighting is weak too, with clunky controls and barely any of the crazy action of the TV show.Hero or Zero?
If you're an El Tigre fan and super basic gaming action is cool with you, then this game is pretty fun, especially for the super-low price. But, don't expect much - with only six levels and no multiplayer you'll be able to finish this game pretty quick.Thumbs Up:
