Venus was knocked out in the first round by Barbara Schett of Austria while Serena was defeated in the quarter-finals by Jennifer Capriati. Serena also appears to be finding "love" off the court. She's rumored to be dating Washington Redskins linebacker LaVar Arrington. On the men's side, Andre Agassi made it to the semi-finals but blew it.
The New Jersey Devils are just one game away from winning their second straight Stanley Cup. New Jersey leads the Colorado Avalanche 3 - 2 in the best of seven series. The Devils are winning without some of their top players. Jason Arnott is out after being hit in the head with a puck and Randy McKay still has a broken hand.
The NBA Finals tip off on June 6th. Kobe, Shaq and the rest of the Lakers are huge favorites to beat the Philadelphia 76ers. The Showtime Lakers have won 19 games in a row and look unbeatable. Allen Iverson will not be The Answer this time around.

At the Women's US Open, 13 year-old Morgan Pressel missed the cut but still played two pretty good rounds of golf. Morgan broke 80 on both days and got to miss two afternoons of classes. Karrie Webb, of Australia, won The Open with an eight shot victory.
