Would you take underwater swims in the world's dirtiest ponds? How about picking up cow crap or eating pie until you're ready to puke? Kidzworld takes a look at the World's Most Disgusting Sports.
Bog Snorkeling
The World Bog Snorkeling Championships are held every August in Llanwrtyd Wells, Powys, Wales. Competitors put on a wet suit and a snorkel and plunge into a dirty, wet, slimy, dark bog filled with peat moss, sludge, scorpions, newts and who knows what else. The snorkeler who completes two laps of the 60 yard (55 meter) channel of filth first wins the title.
Cockroach Racing
If you don't enjoy being around hundreds of scurrying cockroaches, then you'll be sure to avoid the World Championship Cockroach Races which are held each year in Queensland, Australia. Roach racing events include the sprint and the steeplechase - and thousands of roach lovers show up each year to cheer on their favorite little bugs.
Cow Patty Tossing
Do you love to pick up cow crap and toss it around a field filled with even more cow crap? Well, you'd be the life of the party at the World Cow Chip Throwing Contest which takes place each year in at Beaver, Oklahoma's Beaver County Fairgrounds. For some reason, people from around the world take in this opportunity to toss around poo. The record is held by Leland Searcy who chucked a chip 182 feet, 3 inches in 1979.
Pie Eating
Every year, dozens of pie eating contests are held around the United States. The object of this "sport" is simple. Put your hands behind your back and shove your face into a pie and eat it as fast as you can. Keep on eating until you puke, your bowels cave-in or you pass out. The person who packs down the most pie is the winner.
