Did you think you were going to lose your Friends this year. Well, have no fear, Joey, Rachel, Chandler and the gang are gonna give you one more year of great (lets hope) TV. All six cast members have agreed to come back for a ninth and final season - of course, not without a little somethin' - somethin'. In this case that would be a raise. It seems that $750,000 each an epi wasn't cutting it for Jen, Courtney, David, Lisa and the Matts. For the ninth season they'll be cashing cheques for one million dollars after every episode. Guess we don't need to ask Joey "how you doing?".... he must be doing pretty good with all that cash.
From big screen to boob tube, it seems some Hollywood movie stars are jumping over to the land of commercials and remote controls. Hottie Brendan Fraser (star of flicks like, The Mummy and The Mummy Returns) is making an appearance on the NBC sitcom, Scrubs. Bridgette Wilson-Sampras who played the fiance in the flick The Wedding Planner is also going to be a guest on a TV show - Frasier. No air dates have been announced for either, yet.
Ally McBeal is doing some dumping. No, not the girl (she's usually the one to get dumped) but the TV show. It seems creator David E. Kelley is dropping babe boy James Marsden (Cyclopes in the X-Men)from the cast as well as Julianne Nicholson from the gang in order to make room for the return of Ally's ex, Larry Paul (Robert Downey Jr.) and his salary.

The Olympics are ruling the tube - they averaged about 35 million viewers in the first three days. Chances are most of you saw (or heard about) the pairs figure skating event. In a controversial judging call, Russian pairs skaters, Yelena Berezhnaya and Anton Sikharulidze took gold over Canadian pairs Jamie Sale and David Pelletier. Since then, an internet poll has peeps siding (96%) with the Canadians deserving the gold. We want to know what .
