Lucas Oil Stadium and Dallas Cowboys Stadium
by something2First, let me tell you about Lucas Oil Stadium. I know about.... eh...95% of Lucas Oil Stadium. Since February 2007, I've been searching the web for info of Lucas Oil Stadium. Let's see.... um...they started construction in August 2005. This stadium is being built by the Indiana Construction Union. The only people of that construction team I know is Bob May and Scott Blanchard. Bob May is the contract manger for Lucas Oil Stadium and Scott Blanchard is...just this worker...from the Hunt Construction Group. Currently, they are testing to see if they built the retractable roof right, putting in food and drinks for the concession stands, testing the moving window, the scoreboard, and the ribbon boards, and installing more seats. Once they finish that they’ll install the FieldTurf™ which already started in July 2008. Now let's start talking about what the architect drew. The main entrance will be decorated with some of the Lucas Oil products. There will be a retractable roof that will retract in less than ten minutes. The south part of the stadium will be pointing to the RCA Dome and Downtown Indianapolis. The north part of the stadium will be pointing to houses. So remember: Lucas Oil Stadium opens in mid August 2008, it will be used for the Indianapolis Colts, Super Bowl XLVI (46)in the 2011 season , and NCAA Basketball’s Final Four. Now that you know a little about Lucas Oil Stadium, I'm going to tell you all I know about Cowboys Stadium. In Arlington, will live one of the largest and greatest stadiums in the NFL. It's going to have two moving windows, a retractable roof, a led scoreboard, field suites, and you'll remember this stadium for a VERY, VERY long time. In construction, they're working on building the roof that doesn’t retract, they finished putting up the levels many months ago, they have just began building the two party decks on each side, but if you get to the website with the stadium's construction webcam, you will see the video screen; it's not covered up in yellow wall paper or.... something anymore. They are also not complete w/ putting in the stands; they have bottom levels to go. Well, that's all the research I did!
