SingStar Rocks! let you howl along with the coolest rock songs of all time, but now you can bust out your inner diva and strut your stuff with SingStar Pop! This karaoke video game for the Playstation 2 has arrived and it's all about letting you test your singing skills with the coolest tracks, and videos, from today's top pop artists. Is chilling with Britney Spears, James Blunt, Alicia Keys and Cyndi Lauper fun? Find out with Gary's game review!

Getting Your Groove On

Packed with two mics and 30 songs and videos, SingStar Pop gives you a whole lot of game to play. You pick a song and score points by matching your singing to the tune. Bars on the screen help you out and fill up when you do it right. You can also play duets, eight-player pass the mic mode, and even record your fave performance to show your friends later.

Awesome Tunes and Videos!

Not only do the mics kick butt, if you already have the pair from SingStar Rocks! you can save some $$$ and buy SingStar Pop without 'em. On top of that, you can swap the Rocks! and Pop discs in mid-game so you have all the music at your fingertips! If that's not cool enough, the SingStar Pop songs are awesome - 30 hit songs that are great for busting out at a party.

Tone-Deaf Terror

Just like SingStar Rocks!, you need skills to play this game without straining your voice. Also, it's the same game as SingStar Rocks!, so if you were looking for new features, not just new music, you're out of luck!

Diva or Disaster?

Unless you're allergic to cool music, or think that showing off your awful singing voice in front of all your friends is no fun, you'll dig this game. It's a ton of fun, especially at parties, and is a great way to practice your singing skills if you have American Idol-sized dreams.
