This is it peeps, the Console Wars are starting up again! Microsoft announced the Xbox 360 and now the Sony Playstation 3 and the Nintendo Revolution are underway as well. Want the facts on these game consoles and what they can do? Here's the 411 on the Sony PS3!

Can handle video chat.

256 MB RAM for the graphics chip.

Supports HDTV at up to 1080p resolution.

You can play Playstation 1 and Playstation 2 games on it!

35 times the power of the PS2.

It comes in three different colors.

So it's not as fast as the Xbox 360 and it doesn't come with a hard drive. But, you can play PS and PS2 games on it, which is awesome news! Either way, it's wickedly fast system that'll make your fave games look incredible.

Cool Extras for the Playstation 3

The best news about the Playstation 3 is that there'll be a ton of games for it when it drops. Everything from Gundam World to the latest Electronic Arts sports games, and a new Final Fantasy game, will show up. Plus, it should be cheaper than the Xbox 360.

PS3 price alert! The price tag on the PS3 has been rumored at a staggering $450 US. Holy busted piggy banks Batman! Start saving your allowance now folks, and cross your fingers that Sony catches a clue and drops this huge price tag.

PS3 price update! Word is that the price of the PS3 is already dropping. It's now rumored at $370 US, the same price as the PS2 when it first released.

Ah! For surfers in the UK, $450 US means it'll cost 250 pounds. If the price drops to $370 US, it will cost 200 pounds instead.

It's great. I am in Austrlia so it will be around $700. Oh yeah, I am getting one. I've already pre-orded an Xbox 360 and I am buying a PS3 because my dad loves consoles. I also have a PSP, PS2, Xbox, Gamecube and PC.
