Off Road Roller Skating

Aug 28, 2015

Looking for a skate that pushes the limits? Bored of riding inline skates over nothing but concrete? Check out the latest models of all-terrain and off-road skates.

Out-Of-Line Skates - Land Rollers

Go skating in places you never thought imaginable with LandRollers. These skates are designed with larger wheels that are on the outside of the skate, rather than in the middle. This design makes the skates more maneuverable, smoother and easier to stop with. The design of LandRollers also make them better suited for going over rocky pathways, cracked sidewalks or dirt trails. If you saw Around The World In Eight Days, you may have noticed the somewhat crazy inventor, Phileas Fogg, using LandRollers as one of his many modes of transportation. Future models of the LandRollers will feature hand activated disc brakes and off-road tires. LandRollers will be available in many sporting goods stores starting in March 2005, so be on the lookout. For more info, head to www.landroller.com.

Big Foot Roller Skates

These bad boys are truly one of the most powerful rollerskates ever invented. These four-wheeled skates can travel over dirt, grass, mud, small rocks and more. The Big Foot roller skates feature four oversize all-terrain wheels and a hockey-style skate boot. They're perfect for going down mountain hills or rough terrain. But be warned - these aren't for beginner skaters and only come in size six and up. For more info on the Big Foot roller skate, head to www.rollergirl.ca.
