Nintendo has just released the new
Pokemon Fire Red and
Pokemon Leaf Green video games and they're packed full of
Pokemon fun. Here's the 411 on the
new games and a
review of the Pokemon game action.
Pokemon Fire Red/Leaf Green GBA Game Goodness
The
Leaf Green and
Fire Red Pokemon
video games are remakes of the old
Pokemon Red and
Pokemon Blue for the
Game Boy Color, but they've been upgraded with
40% more fun. Each game comes with a free
GBA Wireless Adaptor that lets you battle,
chat and
trade with your friends from up to 10 feet away.
Plus, there are a ton of options that make these games perfect for new Pokemon Trainers by giving more tutorial info, ways to re-battle any Pokemon Trainer you've already defeated and more.
Pokemon Fire Red/Leaf Green: Flops
Even though these new games are loaded with goodness, they have a problem. Since
Pokemon Fire Red and Pokemon
Leaf Green are remakes of the Pokemon Red and Pokemon Blue
Gameboy Color video games, a lot of the
game action is old news if you've already played those games.
Pokemon Fire Red/Leaf Green: Fantastic or Lame?
If you're a new Pokemon Trainer, these games are
da bomb! They're easy to play and loaded with fun. Old-skool Pokemon Trainers won't have as much fun with 'em, but there's still
fun stuff to do.
Pokemon Fire Red/Leaf Green Video Game Age Rating: Everyone.
Pokemon Fire Red/Leaf Green Video Game Thumbs Up:
Free GBA Wireless Adaptor.
Tons of great tutorial info for new players.
Can play as a boy or a girl Pokemon Trainer.
Duel other Pokemon Trainers with the Wireless Adaptor.
Pokemon Fire Red/Leaf Green Video Game Thumbs Down:
It's a remake of Pokemon Red/Blue.
Pokemon Fire Red/Leaf Green Rating:

Amazing games. I have both versions and SO WHAT if they're remakes of old games? Pokemon is so flexible you could play two copies of the same game and still enjoy them both fully!
