Keep up-to-date with all the latest video game releases! Kidzworld has all the latest games to keep watch for. This week, we preview Puffins: Island Adventure, MySims Party, and the Pikmin and Mario Power Tennis re-releases.
Like Penguins, But They Fly
Puffins: Island Adventure is a huge collection of minigames, all related to puffin life on Canada's east coast. Through playing minigames, you increase your puffin reputation, which all builds to earn extras, and even eventually a burrow to call your own. With so many different minigames (100!) and unlockable levels, I can guarantee that this will be the best game revolving around puffins, ever. Look out for it in April on your Nintendo DS.Like Sims, But They Party (More)
MySims Party is a new, Mario Party-style, multiplayer game for the Wii and DS. With 50 different minigames to compete with friends over (40 on the DS version) this looks to have a lot of gameplay variety. There are rhythm games, collecting games, snowboarding games, and even a pizza-making game, all in one package here. There's even a bit of strategy in which MySim you choose to play as.
Like the Gamecube Classics, But, um, On The Wii
Mario Power Tennis and Pikmin are coming to the Wii with a nice low price and Wii-specific controls! Pikmin is the 2001 Miyamoto classic strategy game, which casts you as Captain Olimar, manipulating the local pikmin creatures to get your spaceship back together. Mario Power Tennis is the Gamecube edition of the Mario Tennis series, which should have some really interesting controls this time around for the Wii. Look for both of them somewhere around the $30 dollar mark, a really nice price for such classic gameplay.
